“Fantastic setting and a warm and friendly atmosphere”

We had such a warm and friendly welcome from Alison, she was such a great host, and her knowledge of the local amenities - especially the best places to eat was fantastic! The setting of the B and B is so picturesque with great views of the castle and across to the sea. Our room was immaculate, very tastefully decorated and had everything you could need. Breakfast was very well cooked with a wide selection of options, and lovely to look out over the fantastic views. We would totally recommend a stay at Bryn Guest House, great value, lovely atmosphere....you won't be disappointed!

Room Tip: We stayed in room 5....would recommend !

“Such wonderful people, such a beautiful house.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 December 2011

Our family stayed here two nights and rented two rooms - one triple for the kids, and a double for my wife and I. We were warmly greeted by Alison's daughter upon arrival, and later by Alison herself. Alison is very pleasant to chat with, makes excellent breakfasts to order, and treats her guests like, well, guests in her house! The location can't be beaten - the edge of the yard is the old town wall! The rooms and bathrooms were very charming, very comfortable, very well kept. It doesn't get any better.

Room Tip: Both our rooms (south facing) were great.

“Why look further?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2011

Alison is a very gracious hostess and the facility is great. There is amble parking. It is located right at the gate to the old town. Our room was good sized (larger than most UK B&Bs) with a comfortable bed. The house is rather grand with wide main hallways on both floors and the breakfast room is large and sunny. Alison prepares a great breakfast, you'll be tempted to steal one or two of her Welsh cakes off another guest's table! And everything is sparkling clean. We really enjoyed our visit and appreciate Alison's attention to detail and her warm attention to us.

“Couldn't be better”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 October 2011

Everything about this B&B is lovely: breakfast (beginning with Welsh cakes, followed by other delicious choices); location beside the town walls; garden; nicely decorated, comfortable rooms. Alison is a charming and helpful hostess. In addition to good advice, she has maps, bird identification books, etc., that you can borrow. There are many small touches that add up to a wonderful stay.

“You want a great location and a great innkeeper? Stay here”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 October 2011

This is a great place, great location right on the town wall. The gardens are beautiful. We had a first floor room that was a joy after many nights of narrow stairs to the attic. Clean. Comfortable bed. Quiet. The innkeeper provided all you could desire. High quality bathroom stuff. Totally amazing breakfast. This was my and our favorite stay.
