“Comfortable hotel with good breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

I stayed for two nights at this hotel on a business trip. However I did not spend a lot of time at the hotel other than to sleep and eat. My hotel room was of a good size and the bed was very comfortable. Once I worked out how to get the shower on it produced plenty of hot water at a good pressure. The breakfast was very good and although it was a buffet the food tasted fresh. The only downside for me was the lack of free WiFi access.

“Comfortable overnight stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 February 2012

My wife and I stayed for one night in January. The room was large and reasonably clean - let down by the dirt/dust around the window. This was of a similar standard to Holiday Inns that we have stayed at. We stayed at the rear of the hotel overlooking the car park. It was fairly quiet, so no complaints. Tea and coffe making facilities with two packs of buscuits - they went down a treat in the afternoon. The shower worked well with plenty of hot water. The staff were very helpful and considerate. The bar prices were a little steep. The breakfast lacked a little quality, but it was fair and loads of it (buffet style). The car parking charges were confusing. The information in the room said one thing, the signs around the hotel said another - the reality was different. We stayed on a Saturday and still had to pay an extra £5 for overnight parking.

Room Tip: We stayed at the rear of the hotel - it was quiet.

Thank you for taking the time to 'post' comments about your recent visit. I was pleased to read that you had an enjoyable stay but apologise if you found the car parking charges confusing. A charge of £5.00 per space per night was introduced last year - I will certainly check the 'in room' compendium to ensure the information is consistant throughout. Thank you for letting me know.

““Loved the Whitehouse””

The Whitehouse Hotel is located directly outside Worcester Foregate Street station and is situated perfectly for exploring the Worcestershire region.

Check in was seamless and staff were very helpful throughout our 2 night stay. The room we were given was number 320 which was situated at the back of the hotel (Room Tip: Definitely recommend asking for a room at the back as it is away from the noise from the busy road at the front). The room was lovely with a mini sofa, chair and desk.

The hotel has a Brasserie restaurant, small indoor pool, gym, steam room, sauna and whirlpool.
Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Worcester looking for a reasonably priced hotel with lots of facilities, definitely be back.

Room Tip: Recommend that you ask for a Room at the back of the Hotel

“What a Cheek; car parking Fees”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 January 2012

I have used this hotel a number of times; car parking was always free for guests, why wouldn't it be? The hotel own the car park. Now this year 2012 they have started charging £5 a night for parking. What a cheek. especially as their rates increased quite a bit over the last year too.

Room Tip: get a room away from the front street, its busy and you can hear traffic noise in these rooms.

Thank you for your feedback. I was sorry to read that you do not agree with the implementation of charges for car parking which in fact were introduced in June last year. Car parking spaces are very limited and at times the demand far exceeds the number of spaces we have available. By implementing these charges, we hope that guests may think twice about bringing their car by either doubling up with friends and colleagues or by using public transport.

“A comfortable stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 January 2012

I stayed one night at this hotel on business. The room was comfortable and quiet, the staff attentive and helpful. A good breakfast was also provided with plenty of choice. Unfortunately I didn't have time to take advantage of the gym and swimming pool, but maybe next time!
