Stayed for a couple of nights in 2008. if you love your brakfasts you are in heaven as all the food is very tasteful, organic where possible and fresh. if you arrive late then parking on the road outside can be a bit of a problem. There is a brilliant pub for meals 1/2 mile up the road with organic ales - I cant remember the name of it tucked away down a side road but also another good find.
I must have slept well as I cant remem ber much about my room. However the breakfast was Yumm. I would like to go back for a holiday there!

The manageress is friendly and the breakfast was very good; there are nice views from the house across the nearby countryside. However the room we had was shabby and in desperate need of redecoration/refurbishment; for example old, threadbare and stained carpets and the bathroom fittings were chipped, cracked and shabby. The shower didn't work at all on its full setting and barely worked on its lower setting. I don't think this is really adequate for what we paid - £55 for the night.

We were disappointed with our stay here. We booked a double room a week and a half before we wanted to stay after looking on the website and therefore assumed it would be one of the rooms featured on the website , as nothing was said to the contrary . These rooms looked very comfortable .
On arriving we were shown to a room which was adequate but clearly not one of the featured ones. It was obvious this was a room lived in by the owner or one of her family / friends ( lots of personal effects , photos , clothes , toiletries etc around ).
When my wife mentioned this she was told the room was offered as all the others were booked. However this was not mentioned at the time of booking or subsequently. When I asked if this room was the same price as the others I was told yes and no discount was offered though it must have been obvious we were disappointed.
Although the room was OK it was not very relaxing to stay in a room obviously normally used by someone else.
If you book a room here make sure it's one advertised on the website !

We were so pleased to have come across Harmony House. Its in the quiet 'village' of West Malvern, about a mile or two outside the town centre of Great Malvern.

Our room was beautiful and huge, with a large bathroom area behind a screen. There was a sunken victorian bath, shower and seperate toliet. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in, with fresh white cotton sheets. Little touches like the organic biscuits, writing materials in the desk (including stamps) made this a great place to stay. Our room had a pretty view onto the lane in front but I believe the other rooms downstairs have better views to the rear of the property but aren't as spacious.

Breakfast was perfect; fresh fruits, cereal, juices, full english or vegetarian, toast and coffee. The menu seemed to be largely organic. This was served in the lovely kitchen/ lounge area overlooking the hills.

The Lamb Inn (a quarter of a mile down the hill) is well worth a visit for live music and friendly bar staff and the Brewers Arms (5 - 10 mins walk in the other direction) has great views from its garden and a friendly atmosphere. Behind the Lamb there are some great walks with stunning views.

Definitely recommended!
