this place is a lovely place to stay me and my family had a wonderfull time the rooms was clean view was out of this world food was homemade cannot get better than that and the kids said they love billy brown the goat will call again

first impressions was nt very good .there was a sewage smell at the bottom of the landing then when we got to our room we were not impressed that we had to share the toilet and shower room with six other guests . the room we stayed in was not very clean the mirrors/ skirting boards/ kettle/ lamp shade carpets /.etc were all very dirty . we did nt atempt to use the shower as that was really bad . the bed linen was clean shame about the rest . breakfast was ok . land lady was pleasant. the beer garden was a mess and rubbish was there from the nite before . such a shame because location was great just needs a dam good clean .

Set right next to River Avon opposite the towns park. Has own Car Park and gardens. You might think it is just geared for locals but warm friendly reception. Good homecooked food and value for money accommodation. Had to take the dog on this trip and one of the few places that really was pleased to accommodate pets.

We were booked for 2 rooms but the trip didn't work out as planned. Initial booking process was OK but confirmation never arrived. We followed up 3 days before arrival and all was apparently OK. When we arrived we were told there was a problem with our rooms, water damage apparently, and therefore they couldn't put us up. In fairness they had made arrangements at a local B&B but when we arrived there it was well out of town and not what we wanted so we had to climb back in the cars and find alternative accommodation. The photograph on the web site is creative to say the least. The pub is not on the river but on a main road. Having seen inside the pub we weren't too sorry not to stay there.
