John and Jill are a wonderful couple running a B&B which seems more of a personal joy to them (and their guests) than a mere business venture. It is the personal touches that made this a great stay; from a guided tour of the grounds, to a welcome beer at the kitchen table, we couldn't have asked for more. The property itself is a real piece of local history. You can learn about the great fire that gutted the place in the late Nineteenth Century; go on a tour of the gardens and see many remnants of Evesham Abbey that found their way up the hills... courtesy of the previous owners. This B&B is the place to stay if you like all things English, rural and gentrified, without the impersonal touch of some Country Manor Hotel. The rooms were huge (we could have played cricket in ours!) and the views over acres and acres of beautiful, rolling countryside were really the sort of sight you want to wake up to. All guest will need a car here, but with sights like Stratford, Cheltenham, Birmingham and plenty of country walks, there should never be an excuse for being short of things to do.

You will feel like the Lord of the manor when you stay with John and Jill. The home is spectacular but very comfortable! The linens were lovely and the bathroom had every feature we needed. I loved having breakfast in the stunning dining room with views of the sheep in the pasture. Jill prepares your choice of breakfast and serves it up with flair on her china and silver! They even grew the delicious plums. After breakfast they took the guests on a walk through the estate to see historic structures and other items John has discovered on his "dig".

The location is central to touring attractions around the area.

What a pleasure to stay in such an historic and beautiful location. The West Wing Abbey manor is a lovely accommodation, with beautifully decorated, comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast and best of all, John and Jill to share their love and enthusiam for their home. We are all three innkeepers in Texas and always learn something new to take back home to our Bed and Breakfast inns. There was so much to appreciate at Abbey Manor and I look forward to returning.
