My three-day at Lowerfield Farm was exactly what I dreamed for my vacation in England. Beautiful country side views from the window, amazingly warm hospitality from the owner Gareth & Sue, and very tasty breakfast every morning! Before I went, I was concerned that I didn't have a car as I traveled myself. But it was not a problem that they kindly offered a ride whenever possible. It was very quiet during the night, and it was perfect for reading. I would highly recommend Lowerfield Farm to anyone who wishes to have a special retreat moment. I would love to go back there, with someone special next time.

Our holiday plans his year have been some what scuppered due to various events. In the UK during 2011 we've had a poor summer again followed by mild Autumn into Winter - that is until the day we went away! Driving to Lowerfield Farm we passed through sleet showers just to test us.

We arrived to a warm greeting & shown to our room the Long Lawn. This is a good size room in the old part of the house complete with sloping ceilings & floors. Unfortunately we didn't have a good night as we were very cold thanks to the horrible weather. Our hosts in the morning were very helpful in offering us the alternative Dingle room. A smaller room but hugely warmer for us soft southerners & we had a much better second night.

Nice touch a freshwater drinking tap upstairs to fill the kettle, most places we have stayed in use the water tank via the sink in the room.

Breakfasts are great with eggs, bacon & sausages coming from the farms own livestock, homemade bread as well.

An honesty bar in the guest lounge was another welcome touch, along with the open fire to keep us warm.

Lowerfield Farm is in a lovely setting just outside Broadway, good for touring the local area. As we were there in the winter not a lot of the attractions are open so we had a day in Cheltenham, another in Bourton on the Water & Stowe.

Would happily come back another day but perhaps in the spring or summer when hopefully the weather is warmer.

After having such a nice stay here last time we returned with family. The B&B is in a lovely setting, the rooms are very comfortable, breakfast delicious and the atmosphere is very relaxed and homely. The lounge and honesty bar is a great asset and we appreciated being able to sit down together and relax with some drinks. We especially enjoyed meeting the chickens, pigs and goats! Sue and Gareth were really friendly and helpful again, helping us to choose rooms and providing an ice bucket and glasses for our wine. We hope to return again at some point in the future and will continue recommending it to others.

My family and I stayed knew exactly where we wanted to stay when visiting the Cotswolds again this summer. When we discovered that Gareth and Sue now have a cottage in Broadway that they let out to visitors, we couldn't resist the thought of having our own place right in the village. And as expected, everything was absolutely perfect. The cottage is a charming alternative to the farmhouse, with beautifully appointed rooms, modern kitchen facilities, and the views of the surrounding village from the upstairs windows are picture perfect. Also, it's in a wonderully secluded location just off Broadway's main thoroghfare, so free from any traffic noise at any time of day or night, with a lovely little garden and patio by the kitchen in which to enjoy the summer sunshine in total privacy.
