I have to say this was the bargain of the century - I wont say how much I paid but for the surroundings, rooms and breakfast I thought there had been a mistake.
Was travelling from the North of UK to Windsor for a Conference but sadly the hotels in Windsor have a shocking lack of car parking so chose to stay here. A sweeping driveway gives way to a stone built manor house in its own grounds.
The reception area is very modern without forgetting its old skool charm and the staff are attentive and helpful.
The breakfast was a mix of Full English and Continental served in a room over looking the garden which was all very civilised.
The only down side is there was no lift access to my 2nd floor room and I nearly had a Hernia carrying all my stuff upstairs in 4inch heels ....note to self, wear more practical shoes (nah!)
