“Stay away unless you don't mind being kept awake by loud music”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 January 2012

Qudos is essentially a pub/restaurant that rents out rooms on top of it. Let's be clear, although the waitresses in the restaurant are very friendly and charming, this is not a place to stay unless you don't mind being kept awake by their live music. On booking.com they say "There is regular live music at the hotel, however strict curfew times are adhered to." The "strict curfew" was not adhered to. When the live music stopped, they still played music on a sound system. To be fair, when I went down to complain, they did turn the music down. Thereafter, however, they cleaned up the restaurant making an immense noise. We could therefore not get any sleep whatsoever before 2 am. So, if you value a good night's rest, this is not the place to go to.

“GOOD PRICED ROOMS”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 November 2011

Just came back from QUDOS, the website says it all. The bar area downstairs, has been updated and very clean, and live music was great in there.
Rooms do need to be updated, (WHICH SAID ON WEB SITE) clean and tidy, thats all that you want.
FOOD, was VERY NICE and it gets very busy around 8pm onwards.
Location was great, nearly in the centre of things, just a 5-10 min walk with other pubs around.
ONLY DOWNSIDE is you do not get Breakfast, but said that they are working on that side of the menu.
BAR STAFF were friendly always takative. ROZ the manager (lady), went out of her way aswell to help you
We went on 18th nov to 20th nov and enjoyed the weekend.
PARKING we were lucky and got a space BUT MOST OF SALISBURY you got to pay high prices to park, so do not let this put you off.
we would come back again as it was lovely....plus we had a great price for the rooms!!!

“Excellent for a night out in Salisbury”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2011

You may need to book if you need to eat and also get a good view of the entertainment. You can look on their website for the entertainment that will be on a week in advance. I can honestly say that we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, the atmosphere and the food was excellent.

“Pub with rooms”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 October 2011

Food and drink in the pub are good but rooms and furnishings are quite basic. There is nothing available at breakfast and no parking so you need to get out before 8.00 to feed the hungry meter. No staff around from 11pm till 12.00 next day so calling it a hotel is a big stretch.

“Friendly, cool, would definitley stay again”

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights recently, the staff went out of their way to accomodate us and ensure we enjoyed our stay.
The room was comfortable and reflective of the price we paid. The housekeeping service was discreet and thorough every day.
We ate in the restaurant every night as there was loads of variety (you also get 10% off!!), and then spent the rest of the evening soaking up the fantastic atmosphere in their elegant, trendy bar, whilst enjoying the live music.
We will be staying again!!
