Had a wonderful weekend at Cathedral View. The location was great so near the town and we could lie in bed and see the Cathedral as promised. The rooms were spotless and we had a lovely welcome telling us all the good places to go to eat and visit. There were many lovely little touches that made it more personal. For example we kept eating the chocolates in a dish on the landing and this was noticed and the very next day we had our very own little bowl of chocolates in our bedroom. How lovely!! Breakfast was wonderful and the veggie option excellent. Even the decaf coffee was delicious. That's unusual!! I would recommend this B&B to anyone wanting a great mini break in Salisbury and will come back again should I find myself here again. Thanks for our enjoyable and comfortable stay. This was our second stay at Cathedral View and the hospitality offered by Wenda and Steve was to the same high standard as two years ago. This along with the comfortable beds, proximity to the Cathedral and the city centre, the parking pernit and of course the excellent english breakfast all add up to make this an excellent place to stay.

We stayed for 3 nights in December 2011. We love Wenda and Steve - they are so kind and welcoming. They go so far above and beyond what other B&Bs do, we would love to give more than 5 stars.

The rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast is delicious - cooked to order from local ingredients. They use the highest quality ingredients and make the bread themselves. We have never been to an inn, B&B or hotel that has treated us better.

The location is marvelous, too. Easy walk to the cathedral, town center, restaurants and shops. We can't wait to go back!

Wenda and Steve go out of their way to make you feel welcome and your stay comfortable. Room clean and warm. Great breakfast with plenty of variety. Parking no problem as a free permit is provided. Would recommend.
