We arrived home today from 2 nights at the Wyndham and it lived up to all my expectations.
The house is a beautifully restored Victorian villa which has been sympathetically decorated to make the most of the beautiful features. We were met by Suzanne who makes an effort to make sure you have everything you need, and is happy to answer any questions. As well as the info pack on the B&B and local area in our rooms, she also provided us with a map of the town and up to date voucher book for the area. Our room was lovely and the bed, I'd have happily taken it home, bedding and all.
Breakfasts here are excellent. Whether you choose from a cooked breakfast - lots of variety including the normal full English, kippers, and pancakes - or help yourself to the fresh fruits, cereals, croissants, yoghurts and juices, you won't be disappointed. We only had a small snck for lunch both today and yesterday, as it filled us up for the day. Not a bad thing if you fancy touring the town on foot or taking a left turn out of the front gate to take a leisurely circular walk to Old Sarum.
If we were in the area again we would definately look to stay here again and would recommend it without hesitation. Suzanne and Peter run an excellent bed and breakfast and they should be extremely proud of themselves. Truly a beautiful place to stop, in a beautiful town.
