My mother and I stayed in the family room during our two night stay in Salisbury. I only wish we had planned to stay longer. Suzanne assisted us with our luggage and provided refreshments in the garden upon our arrival. After eight vacations in the UK, Wyndham Park Lodge is at the top of my list. Suzanne is an excellent hostess and provided one of the best English breakfasts I have ever had. Accommodations were beautifully decorated and clean with a capital C. Lovely bath toiletries were provided and the towels are a great size. One of my pet peeves when traveling is not enough hangers, that was not the case here. Location was great for leaving the rental car and walking into the center of Salisbury. I have already recommended Wyndham to an English friend and only hope I have the opportunity to return. Should have five stars and a Gold award!

Having read the other reviews before we visited, we expected to find a latter-day saint running the place, as everyone was so glowing in their praise of the landlady, Suzanne. And we discovered that there hadn't been any exaggeration whatsoever from the previous guests. Suzanne is the friendliest, most helpful B & B/ hotel owner we have ever met. Nothing was too much trouble for her, and she was so cheerful that it was impossible not to feel happy in her company. Our room was spacious and clean, and we had all the facilities we needed. Our car was parked securely, and the hotel was very well-situated, just a few minutes walk from the city centre, but in a quiet neighbourhood. It was a pleasure to stay here, and I recommend it without a moment's hesitation.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Salisbury, look no further. Suzanne is the kind of hostess that every B&B should have. She could not have been any warmer or more accommodating. It has been a couple of weeks since my mother and five sisters stayed at Wyndham Park Lodge, and it is becoming difficult to remember the details of the three rooms we occupied. I do remember that they were attractive, comfortable, and very clean. The cooked-to-order breakfast was delicious. It was a nice walk to the center of town. What is most memorable about our stay is the hospitality shown to us.

Not only was the room gorgeous, our host was helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We arrived later than expected but Suzanne was very gracious about getting us settled and giving us dinner advice. The wifi worked, the breakfast was delicious - we had 5 fruits to choose from! Plus cooked to order.
The location was ideal - we had a place to park, and could walk to everything we wanted to see and do in Salisbury.
The only thing that could have improved it for us was a softer bed - perhaps one of those latex toppers?
