“Good, value, good location. Would stay here again!”
I stayed at Leeds Ibis for 5 nights while on a course , and for the price I paid (£152 in total) I found it very good and pleasant experiance.. The room was by no means super luxurious, but it was warm, dry, clean, spacious, I found the bed nice and comfy, and it had a very good shower to wake me up in the morning! It was a 10 minute walk to the city centre, so location wise it was ideal.
The check-in and and check-out processes were very smooth, and I found the staff to be very professional, efficient and courteous.
The downsides are listed below, but even with all of those, I would definitley consider staying here again when I am next in Leeds.
Downsides:
As said previously, the hotel doesn't have a car park. I used the public car par opposite, which seeing as my car didn't move until I checked out, cost me £9.20 a day. I Paid this at just past 1730 in the evening, which then covered me until 1730 the next day (too lazy to get up early in the mornings!). The car park is the West gate Car park. Full costs are on http://en.parkopedia.co.uk/parking/carpark/westgate/ls1/leeds/
Breakfast was approx £7, which seemed a tad pricey, although it is an all-you can eat kind of thing. I had breakfast at my course location, so have no knowledge of the quality of the hotel brekky.
Water had a strange eggy smell and taste. i ended up washing my teeth with bottled water. This may have been bad luck on my part!
One of the two lifts are still unserviceable.
No free wi-fi (granted,a nicety I suppose, and pay wi-fi WAS available if access was needed)

Dear Guest,
Thank you for your review and I was pleased to know that you enjoyed our showers. We get lots of great comments regarding our showers as they defiantly provide an invigorating start to your day. I will also ensure that your comments are shared with my team as it is always nice to read such positive comments.
I have asked my maintenance team to look into your comments regarding the water but I can assure you that the water is not only safe to brush your teeth but also to drink.
We are soon to launch a free web corner in each of our UK hotels so watch this space and I hope that we can welcome you again soon to Ibis Leeds Centre
