I've come to find that Premier Inns are of a consistent quality. They are not plush by any means, but they are clean, comfortable and have all the amenities that you would need on a short trip.
This hotel is no exception, I found the room to be perfectly functional, and the bed is comfortable (two single beds attached, so a slight bump down the middle). The bathroom includes bath and shower, and both were of good working order.
Internet connectivity is one of my main requirements, and the Premier Inn did not dissapoint. The connection was fast, and the hotel offers free 30 minutes online. After that, it costs £3 for 24 hours, which is a very reasonable price given that some of the competition charge 5 times more.
The restaurant had a reasonable menu, I had the Sirloin steak which was a little on the tough side - I wish I had gone for a safer option like the curry. The breakfast menu was excellent, with plenty of choice in the hot and cold buffet.
All in all, very impressed.
