Stayed at Leeds East Colton Travelodge on our way back from Scotland to London. Great location with numerous places to eat and a big supermarket right next door. Well off the motorway so nice and quiet as well. Room was absolutely fine - usual Travelodge standard and plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 kids in a family sized room. Only issue we ever have with Travelodge is that the bathroom doors in the family rooms are too narrow for my husband's wheelchair - but its virtually impossible to find a family room anywhere that is also accessible - we've only ever found them at the Days Inn chain.

Visited the Leeds Colton Travelodge during February 2012 for a family do.

The hotel is located 1minute from junction 46 of the M1 motorway.

The hotel reception area is quite small so when checking in your instantly in other peoples way. The hotel is cleaned to a high standard however one room smelt of cigarettes and the linen in another had tea stains in the bed linen, both of which were promptly dealt with.

The biggest issue we had was with the local taxi firm we used 'Wheels'. Our taxi taking us to a local working mens club for a family do was an hour late and returning was 2 hours late leaving us stranded in an area we have never been to before in sub zero temperatures. This I know is no fault of the hotel but I would be wary of using this firm.

All in all I wouldn't hesitate to use this particular hotel again at the prices paid.

On outskirts of Leeds, v convieniently situated on a Business Park with large Sainsurys next door. Quiet location that is perfect for a city break. Free parking, helpful staff and clean throughout. As I said, for a Travel Lodge, not bad at all!

Stayed here for one night on Boxing Day 2011. The room was spacious, and very clean. There was no AC or LCD TV (old CRT) in this room, but it was still comfy enough for an overnight stay. The bathroom was clean and the shower gave decent pressure. Water came out at a good hot temperature.

The bed however, was not as comfortable as I have had in stays in other hotels. Even other Travelodges have been more comfortable. The mattress was not easy to sleep on in the room I had.
