Stayed here overnight before dropping our son at York Uni for the first time. The price was good and it was the most convenient and available accommodation to York for a late booking.

The room is typical of Travelodge... and can be described as adequate. The bedding was clean and crisp but whole room needs a bit of TLC. However, the shower was good and the room served its purpose.

Possibly the best thing is the proximity of eateries, with a pub, KFC, Pizza Hut, McDonald's and Sainsburys on the doorstep.

We would use it again

Just returned from overnight stay ,the room was great the largest one we have stayed in , The girl on reception was very friendly + helpful re place to eat there are the usual fast foods within walking distance + harvester bar/ restaurant . We saw someone had put have breakfast at sainsburys which we did it was excellent . All in all very good stay

We were happy to find this accommodation at relatively short notice, and was within good locality to Elland Road for a midweek match. Room was large, having a sofa and long bench with TV. Bed was queen size and very comfortable.

Very happy, would stay there again.

Our second trip here, temple newsam park and harvester close by, fab clean fresh room, helpful staff. A very good night's sleep. Travelodge at it's best.
