We stayed here on a snowy night. The place was packed out with coach parties and those about to fly from the airport. Check in was slow with only one person on duty - we thought planning could have been better considering the numbers arriving. The room was very basic - tired decor, peeling paint in the bathroom, the shower didn't work properly, the sink didn't drain properly, there was no hairdryer (advertised as part of the deal).
The restaurant meal was a self service affair, admittedly cheap, but rather overdone and tired looking.
We got a good price on the room and it was convenient for us to stay there that night so we didn't complain but did mention that our room needed some repairs.

The main point for me at this hotel was how fantastic the prices were for what you are getting. During the day a pint or glass of wine was only £1.75!! Little bit more expensive later on at £3 but still very cheap for a hotel, or even a pub for that matter.
The room we got on an internet deal and was ideal for me and the kids, plenty of space and very comfortable beds!
Breakfast was a buffet all you can eat style and included in the room price which I found very nice.
The staff were super friendly especially Emma on reception who assisted me with my many cases - I tend to bring the kitchen sink when I go away!
One downside but also an upside was how busy the hotel was, downside was abit of a que at the bar a bit later on in the evening, upside was it gave the reception area a good atmosphere rather than being empty.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I read the previous reviews. Hotel was clean, fairly modern and warm. Room was new and decently sized with tea/coffee and fridge. Bathroom was on the small side, but still had a bath in it. Free wifi throughout. Breakfast was average, but lots of it. Some good prices on evening meals which makes a welcome change from rip-off hotel prices. Taxi was about £6 to airport.

Booked this direct with the hotel for myself and colleague on business ...read the reviews and was a little concerned at some of the negatives. All I can say is this was a fantastically priced stay.Wendy was super on arrival. room was great, only comment bathrooms a little small but hey, for one night who cares.. Buffet breakfast was great good friendly service and decent food.
Checked out and get this 2 rooms, breakfast, 6 beers, Guess how much. £72.00 amazing value.
ignore the negatives this was great value..worst aspect I was working.
