The outside appearance of this hotel really doesn't do the interior, the catering or the staff any favours. The car park was scruffy, largely unlit and depressing.
Having said that, the staff were excellent, the food was far better than i expected - a fairly limited repertoire, but prepared with real care and attention to detail - and the place was safe, quiet and comfortable.
I'm not planning a holiday there any time soon - the location beside a major highway is not the most attractive aspect of Leeds one could hope for, but as a safe, clean, easily accessible business hotel at good price, it gains my top marks.
Well done to a really helpful, welcoming staff and a kitchen team who have clearly hit their stride.
