“Great Short Stay Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2012

This is a great hotel for a short stay. Clean, near the city no frills hotel. Old style television in room...but functional. Adequate bathroom (again clean and tidy) Very cheap parking at £3 per night for Priority Club members (we are) £5 for all others (still very reasonable) Breakfast whilst basic, was adequate....hot items available (sausage, beans and scrambled eggs) with the usual cold items...cereal, croissants, fruit, juices and assorted teas.
We had a triple room which was adequate for my husband and myself and teenager. Will stay again if in Leeds, if at the right price.

Room Tip: 7th floor quieter.

“Loved the hotel but not the clientele”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

We stayed Friday 27th January after visiting the nearby hospital. Good central location with secure parking at a very reasonable rate. No-frills room but clean and comfortable. Comfortable bed with plenty of pillows. We were lucky enough to be on a quiet corridor and had a great night's sleep (but read on). Breakfast was excellent, lots of choices, and staff were really nice - two Spanish ladies.
Receptionist was rather surly. We had interrupted his chatting up of some women in the bar. Next morning he didn't bother to give us the code to get out of the car park, had to go back and ask him. Couldn't have contrasted more with the breakfast staff who were really nice. Because of its central position and low prices, the hotel seems to attract young clubbers who are not always considerate of other people. We heard shouting and very loud music from several rooms as we passed them (even at 8am next day as we were leaving). Fortunately our room was at the end of a quiet corridor and we were fine but I think it might be a matter of pot luck and we could have ended up without a wink of sleep. Not the hotel's fault of course and it's a shame, but for this reason we probably would not stay here again.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor?

“Efficient, friendly and breakfast is included”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 January 2012

Stayed on a Saturday evening and was given a room on the top floor, level 7. The room was properly prepared and had the added benefit of being away from the lifts, and so was very quiet. Breakfast was good with the usual selection of cereals and also cooked food as well, all included in the price. I think that the parking arrangements are a distinct plus in that it's cheap at £3.00 per night for Priority Club members and £2.00 extra for others. Also, it's relatively easy to find compared to the more central hotels in Leeds. The temperature in the room was cold, probably because the room was right at the top of the building and there was no separate radiator, but it was nothing that could not be sorted out with an extra blanket.

Thank you very much for taking the time to write and for your kind comments. Just worth a mention that we do have some portable heaters in the hotel so if its really cold outside we can add to the existing heating in the room.

“Good value for money..”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 January 2012

We stayed in this hotel on 25-28 December 2011. It's clean and near the city centre. The staffs were wonderful, polite and helpful. Our children enjoyed their stayed too (aged 5 and 3). for £39/night plus £3/night parking charge, we think it's good value for money plus you get breakfast, hot and cold...No complains...Lovely stay.

Room Tip: Top floor rooms would be the quietest.

“Good Value for Money”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 January 2012

I got A really good deal when I stayed here the the value for money was great, I'll Bullet point some points

Staff: Great

Car Park: This was brilliant as its apart of the hotel so it's only £5 a night or £3 for priority club members which anyone can join when booking so no dear NCP charges of £15 a night

Room: Is what you expect Nice, clean and tidy and they already set up the spare sofa bed which was nice, Tv was fussy but this happens in a lot of hotels but this needs to be looked at Room 601, It would of been better if the TV was LCD on the wall rather than a small old one

Location: It could be a little easier to get to but its fine, but I did drive to town as its not quite central in the city centre, I didn't want to walk 15 min's with a lot of bags back to the hotel and the weather was really bad

Breakfast: The cooked breakfast is Free and the breakfast area is nice and clean but like other reviews the breakfast is that great very limited selection of Sausage (which could be improved) beans, scrambled egg and toast (I had a feeling the food wasn't changed regularly as the scrambled egg looked like it had been there for a while) and they are saving money by giving you open cereal people could cough on , rather than using small cereal boxes which would be a lot better

Overall: This hotel was really good value for money
