I cannot express enough how clean and tidy the hotel was. Also the staff are so helpful and friendly. One particular young lady, Dawn Johnson-Chappel on the reception, helped our party of six from work, when our admin section had booked us in different hotels. Dawn sorted it all out for us to be in the one hotel... with no fuss. For this reason alone, we would all stay again and reccomend your hotel to anyone that was travelling to Leeds. We liked it so much, we are booked in there next week when we come up again for business.

The hotel doesn’t have the best views outside but all the good stuff is indoors.
Staff – friendly as can be, check in was straightforward.
Food: Great bar/restaurant meal, breakfast choices consist of healthy fresh fruit, croissants, cereal, toast juice and your regular full English (sausage, bacon, eggs, tomatoes, beans, mushrooms).
Rooms and room service: good clean sheets, enough towels, good lighting, mirrors, tea/coffee making facilities and the bonus was an iron & ironing board. No – the i-pod dock is the best thing! They have thought of everything.
The shower was powerful and relaxing; microphone style head or large round rainfall type head. The water temperature adjusts to your liking.
Room service menu is that offered in the bar/grill but they only serve until 10:00 p.m.

Leisure facilities: brilliant big poo, TWO Jacuzzi’s, large sauna and steam rooms. The changing room and lockers are great too, decent size and clean.This was better than a spa venue I went to recently.
Overall you would not be disappointed by this hotel and it is in par with the prices you pay.
This is definitely where I’ll be staying in Leeds from now on 

I had the most wonderful time at the DE Vere Village South. We were a party of 6 on a business trip and for some reason our admin department had booked 4 of us in the Village North and 2 in the Village South which was most inconvenient. On arrival at the Village South we explained our predicament to the night manager Dawn Johnson-Chapell. What an absolute star!! Without hesitation and the most helpful person I've come across in ages she rearranged our booking with the Village North and transferred our bookings to the south so we could all travel from the same hotel. Throughout our stay ( 3 nights) Dawn looked after us and was so very polite and helpful, suggesting the best places to eat out, although most nights we ate in the hotel. The hotel was lovely and modern, the rooms were very contemporary in design with comfy beds and the spa and pool were a big bonus. Having the restaurant and Pub was also very convenient too and reasonably priced. We are travelling back up for three more night in February and would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. Overall a great place to stay with lovely friendly staff.

Me and my partner came here for a two day break, this included breakfast on both mornings as well as dinner on the first night.

The bedroom was fantastic, decorated tastefully, very clean and comfortable. Peaceful too. I loved the mood lighting and the ipod docks. Bathroom was a good size, I loved the walk in shower, had that spa feeling. Plenty of hot water.

The meal was fantastic on the first night, we had this in the restaurant. The downside to it was that there were no drinks provided which I thought was a bit weird. We had to buy our drinks, which were not cheap by the way. Breakfast was delicious, free drinks for this which was good. Fresh orange juice, which was topped up as it kept going quickly. Had a range of food, cereals, pastries, full english breakfasts. Was great. There was a room service but that was rather expensive. People tended to leave their plates and stuff in the hall way which was rude.

The gym/spa area was fantastic. It was empty most of the time, so we had it to ourselves. The lighting in there was nice. Relaxing. Didn't want to get out when it closed at 10pm, which is a good time as you have a decent amount of time to do what you wish.

I would recommend staying here for both business and leisure. It is a great place but it can be pricey.
