Stayed for 3 nights at £45 per night per room, with "Continental Breakfast" included. I got there and the place was deserted. I was the only one staying there on the 1st night.
The positives were: Spacious room, tea/coffee making facilities in the room, almost new tv with dvd player included, toiletries provided.
On the down side, the room was shabby, with the carpet not properly fitted, cracket tiles in the bathroom, the enamel on the bath was rusting, and the rust had been hidden by a rubber shower mat. The "Continental Breakfast" consisted of some cereals, milk and juice left in a small fridge on the side, a few pieces of fruit in a carrier bag in a fruit bowl, and a loaf of bread with some butter portions and jam portions. There was a toaster to toast the bread, and a kettle to make a drink, but there was nowhere to fill the kettle up. There was no one on reception for almost all of my stay there.
Dont think I will stay here again.

First of all, we are happy to note the positive comments on your review, thank you. We are sorry that there were some problems with your bath - we have now remedied this (ideally it should have been reported by the chamber maids, and we have asked them to ensure any other problems are also reported promptly). In fact you were not the only guest in the hotel - but we're glad you weren't able to hear any of the other guests! (If we remember rightly, you sometimes arrived and left outside of busy hours?) With regard to the breakfast selection - we have taken on board your feedback and we have increased the selection of items available.
