I read the reviews and didn't expect to stay at the Ritz, but when I arrive on a business stay, it was a thousand times worse than expected. When I was shown to the room that resembled a hostel, I was automatically confronted with a room that smelt of human waste. The whole place was extremely out of date and run Down, I don't think the bedding has even been cleaned since it opened in the 1920s, the toilet was a disgrace and we were given no toilet roll. The breakfast was worse than terrible, they promote the sale of famous " o'hagans" sausages which I regretfully had for breakfast which I can only describe as tasting like a chewy rotten kebab. The pub/bar was a meet for the local alcoholics that smelt of wet dog, stale ale and sweat. The service was appalling and they were very rude showed no intrest in our needs and continuously coughed in my face. My recommendation is that you stay well clear of this place and if you were in my position where everywhere else was fully booked, see if the local prison will do you a bed for the night.
