We would like to get there once more. It is calm and nice. The breakfast is more than delicious and it is composed with local and home made products.

Myself and my son used the guest house as a base for a cycling and walking holiday, the accommodation was first class, very well maintained, clean and tidy and the owners very friendly and attentive. On the negative side, and not the fault of the guest house, was that the only place to eat out in the evening, within walking distance, is the pub in the village where the food is ridiculously priced and very poor. (A meal for two that could only be described as madiocre pub grub, cost us £60) There is however the option of a very reliable and efficient Taxi Service for journeys into town. I would however definately recommend this guest house
The area is excellent for off road cycling, which can be at times quite severe.

This was our second visit to the Old Store. The welcome is geniune accompanied by tea and cakes in the lovely garden. The rooms are charming with modern shower rooms spotlessly clean. The breakfasts are excellent. The only criticism can be that it is located on the corner of a mildy busy road which is not a problem in the evenings or with windows closed, but if you can, get a room facing the side road.

We have been staying at The Old Store every year for the last fourteen years. We have not found its equal anywhere. The place is kept spotlessly clean and the breakfast features delicious local produce. Served in a bright dining room in a thoughtful and attentive way, and always with time for chat, it is a delightful start to the day. In fact, the hallmark of this B&B is that you are made so welcome that you feel more like part of the family than a guest. Heather and Patrick also believe in the old adage of "continuous improvement" and are always planning their next upgrade. They really enjoy what they do and it shows. Excellent value, high quality and that indefinable something that makes you feel totally relaxed and at ease.
