during previous trips to the Witterings and Dell Quay we have always made different accomodation arrangements, quite by chance we booked at Crouchers to attend a friend's birthday in the area and can not rate it highly enough.
We received a very warm welcome, our room was just perfect! The decor, comfort and facilities in the room were above expectation and the bed was soooo comfortable.The restaurant and bar area are modern but cosy and breakfast left us full for the rest of the day. Our only regret was we were only staying for one night, so we've booked again for the summer for a weekend!
We will definitely recommend to friends and family!

staying at this hotel in october with my wife had a lovely time but spoilt by the customer service.my shirt vanished from my room after asking what happened to it and eventually writing to one of the proprietors twice he took almost two months to reply stating that they are unable to locate my shirt and the staff have been there for a number of years.i stay in up to 40 hotels a year and have never had this problem i presume my shirt was stolen

Last November (2011) our family celebrated my parent's Golden Wedding Anniversary with a superb Sunday lunch at Crouchers Hotel. Our party was seated in a private conservatory which looked out onto pretty countryside. The restaurant manager and his staff were excellent, they went to a great deal of trouble to ensure we were all comfortable, and paid special attention to my parents who were delighted with the 5 star service. We will be back for sure,many thanks for a wonderful day.

I stayed for a two night break and will certainly recommend Crouchers to friends and family. Following advice, I requested a quiet room. Since it was low season I was upgraded to a large room with a four-poster bed at the back of the hotel. It had a private patio with two chairs and a lovely view over open fields and countryside. It could have used new fitted cupboards and brighter lighting but my room was comfortably furnished with a modern bathroom. It was peaceful and I slept extremely well. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful using local produce and offers a wide choice of hot and cold dishes. I didn't get a chance to try the restaurant for lunch or dinner but the menu and prices looked good and other guests praised it to me. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. Overall, Crouchers is excellent value, conveniently situated and better quality than many other overpriced hotels in the area.
