I paid for my daughter and her partner to stay for a birthday treat in September and they said thay had a fantastic time the food in the Richmond bar was excellent and the service that they got from the staff made them feel really special so much so they have booked to stay there next weekend for two nights excellent value for money

We were looking for a break in the uk that ticked all the boxes just before Christmas. Very comfortable rooms, lovely food with good service. The pool area was clean and a great way to relax before dinner. Staff very helpful and breakfast was cooked to order. The Goodwood hotel is a hotel that demonstrates quality throughout. We will be back again in 2012.

For us, this was our thirty-fifth wedding anniversary and our last 'gulp of oxygen' before Christmas. It was everything we had hoped for and the staff are a key part of the whole Goodwood experience. They couldn't have been more helpful and attentive and seemed to enjoy what they were doing. We were impressed particularly by Emma P., Claire, Kate and Alison in the hotel and Louise at Waterbeach, the hotel salon, offering a wide range of treatments. The pool area was lovely and a great way to relax before dinner. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choice and specially cooked to order. The rooms are delightful and you really do feel 'away from it all'. The Goodwood touch was on everything, so petrol-heads, horse-lovers and people who simply love this part of the world would all feel at home.

We stayed here for a weekend and instantly felt relaxed. Quality room and lovely food with good service. Had a swim in the pool which was very nice and price wise we though it was very reasonable. Lovely setting with interesting historical interest. A lovely all round weekend. Will definitely return soon.
