Clean and neat rooms, good value for money and very comfy bed! Only downsides would be the location, as a twenty minute walk down a very busy road to arundel, and having to walk through the bar to the hotel rooms but small grumbles really overall considering the price we paid (54.50 for one nights b n b for a double room).

After looking online for a while this looked like a lovely place to stay however photos can be deceiving. The bar decor was lovely however it was cold and empty all Saturday night. we had one drink then left aFter the waiter dropped a tray of drinks all over us. We decided to eat in town and glad we did! The room was spacious but the refurbishment poor. The shower produced as much pressure as a dripping tap!! I woke to a bad back as the mattresses were like concrete. Worst nights sleep ever. I wouldn't bother visiting this place.

Nothing spectacular but decent food and decent value for money

My husband & I have just spent 3nights at this hotel.
The decor & furnishings were beautiful and the staff cheerful,friendly & helpful.
Our room was furnished to a very high standard.
We had super big bath towels and the toiletries were replenished daily as were the much appreciated extras of biscuits and bottle of water.
Our room was lovely & spacious, the only negative being that considering the hotel had recently been refurbished we thought it a pity they hadn't installed kingsize beds instead of doubles - there was certainly enough room.
There was an excellent choice menu for breakfast and the service was very good.
The evening menu however was disappointing and on the Sunday we arrived they had run out of things after a busy lunch-time. However we discovered an excellent Beefeater a couple of minutes by car down the road and ate there the next 2nights.
It's about a 20 minute walk downhill into Arundel town centre. There are pay & display car parks although there was plenty of free roadside parking when we were there.
The castle is a must but even if you can't afford the all inclusive ticket the gardens alone are well worth a visit.
We also went to the Wetland Centre, bit of a rip-off but somewhere else to go and we did see a water vole on the inclusive boat ride.
I would certainly recommend Arundel for a week-end break and would definitely recommend the White Swan Hotel.
