Staff very welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Food was very pleasant. We're a group of school friends in our 60s who get together annually, staying in a Youth Hostel. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time at Arundel and would like to thank the staff who put up with our singing and the competition from the group of french bikers! All good fun!

This hostel is in a great location, - quiet, but only a short walk off the beautiful Arun river footpath..... just outside Arundel. The rooms were basic, as you would expect in a youth hostel, but they were spacious, very clean & comfortable. We had our own bathroom. We had the evening meal at the hostel which was great for the money. The price of the wine was very reasonable.There was plenty to eat for breakfast. Also the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Stayed for just one night and had more or less the whole hostel to ourselves. Very beautiful location very tranquil. Excellent breakfast in the morning (Full English breakfast buffet). Very helpful and chatty staff. Very very cheap too. Would definitely recommend
