Not a great start - hotel phoned me up two months early to tell me I hadn't turned up and they'd have to charge my credit card. Then when we did turn up they had no knowledge of my booking!
Room was really shabby, but was passable. We ate in the bar on the first night, and the food was no better than I could have whipped up at home with a freezer and a microwave.

I have never stayed in such a terrible place. The room was dirty and stank of smoke! As for the food. When it arrived an hour later, the order was wrong and it was disgusting.

The only thing that kept me sane was the company. I would rather stay in a tent than have to return to this place, how it's still going amazes me!

I was staying in this hotel for a weekend and it's certainly not good value for money at all.There was a weeding that weekend about which we didn't know and the music very loud that we simply couldn't sleep.When i went to reception to complain the receptionist called Duty Manager who's name was Christo, he was very polite.Than after few minutes came a lady to speak with me and she said she was the General Manager of the hotel (apart she came with a glass of beer in her hand which was very professional....she was also rude and not willing to look for any solution of the situation).i won't recommend this hotel to anybody and i don't have any pleasent memories from my stay and definately i won't come back there because it was just a lost of money.

An old manor house ruined with a prefab accommodation block, which is somewhat reminiscent of a hospital ward. Faded, tired rooms are coupled with a grand but small dining room making an odd mix. In the dining room, the food is good though the menu lets down this one redeeming factor. It seems that “Today’s” menu remains the same for today, tomorrow and every day.

Once again the odd mix is presented as the restaurant staff appeared to genuinely care about service and guests. Elsewhere this level of service / dedication was lacking, it was clear that it was just a job and one that they did not appear to want.

My own room was not serviced during my three night-stay; I didn’t report this as I was quite happy not to have the staff poke around.
