We haved stayed here several times when visiting family nearby (We either stay here or at the Holiday Inn M6 Junction 2 depending on which has the best offer - this one is the smaller of the two). Check Inn staff have been superb - very polite and helpful. The rooms are very good - my little boy loves having a whole queen sized bed to himself! I always phone ahead and ask for a room at the back of the hotel, away from the road; we have always had a quiet, comfortable night's sleep. On our last stay I over slept and was late for breakfast, but the staff were very understanding and the food was good. There sometimes seem to be a lack of breakfasrt staff but on our last visit this was better. There is no lift so if you have luggage and a small person demanding help, it can be 'interesting' getting to your room. However I was asked if I wanted help with my bags when I checked in on my last visit and on the way out one of the cleaning staff was extrememly helpful and carried my son's bag and helped him down the stairs. Watch out for the slip road if you are coming from the huge roundabout (A46 / Coventry city centre) as you have to take it and then head back to the roundabout to find the hotel entrance. You are upon the slip road before you see the hotel on the other side of the road so it is easy to miss it! We will be back again I'm sure.
