Advertised as " A Stroll down Broadway" our party booking was anything but...The only concession that this hotel made to match the description was to put two art-deco style silhouettes by the door of the restaurant area. The disco played all the usual Christmas rubbish [nothing from the musicals] and the area was open to non-party goers too. One of our friends, with dietary concerns had to wait 1/2 hour for her main course despite ringing in & explaining beforehand. The meal was below average with the turkey roll appearing to consist mainly of stuffing and the menu not informing diners that the Christmas pudding contained nuts. This could have resulted in a very serious situation for another of our party with an allergy, who only realised after taking a spoonful.
All in all a big let-down and a very disappointing start to our festive celebrations.

Room tip: Upgrade to a bigger room

Dear Gustaf_9,

Many thanks for your feedback, clearly disappointed that we did not impress on this occasion and that our usually high standards were not in place, with several thousand people attending christmas parties throughout December a great deal of emphasis is placed on getting all aspects right including the environment, our guests have a part to play in that also.
Please accept my apologies for the shortcomings described, if you would like to discuss anything further then please do not hesitate to make contact with me via the hotels switchboard.

Stayed for two nights while attending some business meetings

Checking in was easy & quick, polite staff, room was on the 2nd floor but overlooked the function suite and that lead to wee bit noise later at night. Everything in the room was working, clean and well presented.

Breakfast is buffet with fair choice and it was well cooked. Only had dinner on one night, the restaurant staff were very helpful, made good recommendations and served everything as it should be.

Leisure facilities are good, pool, sauna, steam and a gym.

The hotel is situated in a business park and very close to Canley railway station, 4 minute walk.

Good points; Clean well presented room, good facilities.
Bad points; Bit of noise from the function suite

Would I stay here again; Yes

Room tip: Room I had was noisy being above the function suite, but this could be put right if a room on the other side of the hotel was requested, well worth asking for this..!!

I didn’t stay at this hotel however I did take part in a recent Groupon deal that included use of the leisure facilities, a spa treatment and an afternoon tea in the Victory Pub bar. In terms of value for what we paid we really can’t complain as the treatment was nice and the staff were all very friendly. Given that it was an opportunity to showcase the venue for visitors to return though I would have warned people that Saturday morning the leisure centre is used for family swim time as this got quite busy and loud at several points! The afternoon tea was also a little sparse with not much variety however again the staff who served it were very friendly and accommodating. In summary I’d come back if there was a deal (and it was for a weekday which I would presume would be less busy) but probably not paying full price.

Dear Karenska K,

Thank you for taking the time to share your review with tri advisor following your recent spa day, pleased to read that generally you had a good time albeit that the facilities were busy, Saturday mornings are probably our busiest time so for a relaxing spa day we too would recommend a midweek date as a more suitable option.
We hope to see you back again soon, in the meantime look out for the various offers which are due to go live over the festive period and represent excellent value.

Yours sincerely

I had a one night business stop over here and everything was faultless. This is a very modern place with well specified rooms, good parking, free wifi, a gym, a bar, a nice restaurant, even its own Starbucks! Also close to a Sainsbury's for any thing you may have forgotten and of course an obligatory bottle of wine to take to your room instead of paying restaurant prices.
