I stayed here for one night, booked through my company. I can't argue that the room was very nice, comfortable bed, lovely view to the garden, nice bathroom etc.
However, the level of customer service from reception staff was quite poor. I had mistakenly left some papers on the reception desk (and I knew they were there because I had turned the room upside down looking for them, and remembered having them at the desk) so I went and asked if someone had seen them.
I got a blank look the first time, and a 'no, I haven't seen them'. The second time I asked, it was only when I said that they were really important that the guy on the desk asked if I would like him to check with his colleagues if they had seen them.
After that I heard nothing. It wasn't until I had eaten breakfast the following day that another member of staff mentioned they had found them as I was getting my key.
It seems like a small thing, but because I didn't have those papers first thing, I had to call my office and find out where I was going that day, check train times etc, because it was all contained in those lost papers. I can't see why someone couldn't have come and told me they had been found the previous evening!
I just felt that no one wanted to make the effort to assist me. Perhaps that is a training issue.
Apart from that, the hotel was quite noisy in the evening (slamming doors, noise from other rooms), and then at 4am a generator came on that was so loud a fellow visitor eventually got up and complained. It was subsequently switched off, but why on earth was it running at that time anyway?!!
All in all, not a horrendous experience, but they really need to look at their customer service.
