“convenient and cool”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 February 2012

The rooms are small but brilliantly designed to fit everything in (hanging space for shirt and suit was our only issue), and looks very trendy. Very quiet inside and friendly staff on reception. Brilliant location for shopping / nightlife. Good value for money- my only complaint would be the bathroom doesn't have a door, just a clear glass panel so no privacy there!

“great room and excellent location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012

Room is very small - as I was expecting - but very sleek, clean and stylish. I was on my own so it was ideal. I was nervous about noise as there are so many rooms but it was brilliantly soundproofed - I had a vending machine outside my room and didn't hear a thing. I don't think hen/stags use the hotel because you really need to be a couple to share the room - I wouldn't want to share it with a friend or children but would be happy to with my partner. Very comfy bed - and fab big tv!
My only niggle was the reception staff - sometimes they were very friendly - others not. There was a problem with my booking - they said I hadn't paid (although I showed them my receipt and confirmation email) and the receptionist didn't apologise for the mix up - although on check out a different receptionist was extremely apologetic. Restaurant was empty on a saturday night and I was told I could only have pizza (which I didn't want) so went round the corner to the Mailbox where there was a great selection of restaraunts and a mini tesco (v handy).
an easy 5 minute walk to the station
great free wifi
lovely shower

“A great hotel with a excellent location”

A really great hotel with an excellent location in the city centre. Rooms are excellent although very compact! I would definitely stay here again.

“Quirky pod hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 January 2012

A quirky hotel with well designed public spaces and pod rooms, great value for money at under £60 per night. I travelled alone for work, so the tiny room was fine (did laugh when I first opened the door at how tiny it was!) and very well equipped, but the lack of space might be an issue for 2 people staying. Bed was really comfy and breakfast in the cafe deli was great.

“Great for one night max!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 January 2012

We foudn teh hotel fine and managed to park outside on the street ok, check in was easy and we found the room ok. After much laughing upn entry (it is really tiny) we settled in, there is hargly any floor space you can hear everything when the other person is in the bathroom, cringe!!! But fine for one night, it was quite noisey when all the clubbers/cleaners came in, but overall i would stay again!
