Managed to secure a reduced booking rate of £39 for the Birmingham Christmas markets. (We stayed 20/12/11). Absolutely brilliant location, easy to find, in a quiet back street so no road noise (that's noticeable anyway!) and literally a 5 minute walk from the centre/christmas market run.

thoroughly enjoyed my visit both to this premier inn and Birmingham and will definitely be returning next year!

Cons - if there were any, it was not being able to get out of the electronic gate thanks to the dizzy receptionist forgetting to tell me the code.

Managed to get the much advertised £29 rate for a Sunday night. Usually stay in the Hyatt Regency but literally wanted a bed for the night as we were going to a concert in the evening and had to leave straight after breakfast the next day so it didn't seem worth it. Clean room, comfy bed, bathroom adequate, with efficient shower. Breakfast next day was very good and excellent value too. My husband had a full English breakfast, which was cooked to order and very tasty. Free parking an added bonus. All staff very friendly - when we arrived there was only one set of towels in the bathroom, but the receptionist fetched some more and was very apologetic.

This premier inn is very close to the city centre and a 2min walk from the nice eatery/bar area that is the Mailbox. The staff are friendly and helpful, just what you expect in a premier inn. Also an aded bonus if having a free carpark, with ample space. The rooms are clean and welcoming. A little cool when we first went in our room, but that was soon sorted by turning the electric heating up. Did not eat there so cannot comment on the food. Overall a great stay and handy location for the city centre

good clean hotel, free parking and that makes a huge difference to the overall price. Staff efficient and friendly.
