“Friendly modern hotel, well worth return visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2012

We spent Saturday night at the Eaton Hotel for my girlfiends birthday and enjoyed our visit. The staff are friendly & helpful, the room was spacious clean and tidy and it represented great value compared to the city centre. We did not intend to eat but the snow meant we couldn't get to our chosen restaurant and decided (like every other resident to eat in). Despite this sudden surge in trade the hotel coped admirably and we enjoyed a good evening. If anything the portions were too big!! and a purist might have said that they overload the sauce on the main meals but my steak was a fine cut of meat and the service could not be faulted.
We'll be back !!

This is a real gem on Hagley Road. Ample parking, free WiFi, clean modern rooms and a free breakfast!

We stayed here for 2 weeks on business and I would choose again over the "chain" hotels any day whenever staying in Birmingham.

This was our second time of staying at this hotel, we didnt even bother looking for anywhere else as we really enjoyed our stay the first time round, we were given a room at the rear as they were concerned that there may be noise from the christmas revellers in the function room at the front of the hotel, the room seemed more spacious than before, the decor was lovely, and the shower/toilet was very clean and modern, we were also pleasantly suprised by the change to the dining/breakfast room it looked superb, and such a choice on the menu, the staff were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble not forgetting the receptionist they were lovely too, the hotel is very easy to find and on the bus route for popping into town, the bus stop is directly outside the hotel which was handy, this hotel is ideal for visiting both the arenas and shopping at the Bullring, we will stay again :) xx

“friendly hotel in Birmingham”

we stayed here to attend a wedding so really just needed a comfortable bed and a tasty breakfast and this was definately what we had. The room was spacious and clean and the bed comfortable, and there was a very good power shower. The staff were very friendly and helpful - absolutely no complaints about the Eaton hotel.

Although there were lifts to the two floors there were some short flights of steps to negotiate on the corridors.

“Excellent hotel”

I have been staying at the Eaton at various times in the last 4 months and I commend it highly.
The accommodation is exceptionally good with up-to-date facilities in all of the rooms I have stayed in. There is ample car-parking space; the hotel is on a main road so accessability is not a problem (the noise of the main road is only heard in the rooms facing it; even so, it is not intrusive).
The food is exceptional, with both a la carte and set menus in the evenings; it can rival any restaurant easily in price and quality.
The staff are friendly, attentive and helpful and make you feel at home without being over-enthusiastic.
