Good clean hotel and easy for motorway access
complimentary breakfast is a bonus

I spent two nights in the hotel and was very impressed when entering on the warm welcome I received by the reception staff.
I was checked in very quickly and given information regarding times of breakfast and about the hotel in general.
My room was very clean and fresh smelling and as a first timer in the holiday inn chain I will be defiantly booking here again and other locations.
Well done to the hotel manager and staff for making the stay very comfortable and pleasant.

Just spent a weekend at this great value hotel with my partner and our 3 children.
We booked 2 family rooms 208 and 210 which suited our needs for a family weekend break in the Birmingham area. The rooms are the standard Holiday Inn Express. Comfy and clean and the breakfast was good.
The staff were excellent. James Betteridge ( who i think is Guest services manager?) was very helpful, not only recommending places for us to visit with kids, but also printing of details and driving instructions.
We were hoping to visit Cadbury World, but this was closed for another week for some reason, so instead we visited The Think Tank Science museum, at millenium point. It was about 8 miles from the hotel and well worth a visit.

I left Birmingham about a year ago but business means fairly frequent returns, and when I need to stay, this is my usual choice, with comfy rooms and very competitive pricing.

Its just off Junction 2 of the M5, lots of parking, very easy to arrange meetings with good sized public areas. The rooms are not big but are clean and large enough for work. The rooms are well kept, the bed comfy and quiet. Food is not horrendously expensive and drinks are not a big premium either

This is a 2 star hotel yet it easily surpasses that grading. Its better than almost all 3 stars I've stayed at and more than a few 4 stars. The standards here are very high and I would certainly recommend.
