“excellent location good service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

Have stayed here on two occasions, the hotel is situated perfectly for Brindley Place with its bistros and wine bars, also for shopping in the city.

Check in efficient, room comfortable with good sound proofing from the busy broad street.

We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and the food on the evening was excellent with attentive but not overbearing service. Breakfast has a wide range of items to suit most tastes.

Wine bar also handy for a pre dinner drink or cocktails.

Parking off site at £14 per night, however can check in and load/unload first.

“the best hotel...ever!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

stayed at this hotel in january 2012, and i have to say this really is the nicest, cleanest and best hotel iv ever stayed at,
my partner and i were greeted by very friendly staff who were happy to help with any query,
the room was huge with a massive bed, floor to ceiling windows to show off an amazing view,
the room was spotless, not a spec of dust to be seen, the bed linen was also immaculate.
minibar was well stocked, plenty of clean towels, soap, toilet tissue ect...
we had a slight problem with the price at first as it had reduced after we had paid, but the staff were quick and happy to help, not only putting the difference as credit onto the room, but also upgraded us to the regency club, where we enjoyed free drinks, snacks and breakfast in a private lounge.
cant wait to go again...

Room Tip: choose regency club..the extras are worth it

“Couldn't have asked for any more....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 January 2012

Excelletn stay at the Hyatt this weekend. We was advised the check-in time was 3pm, but the friendly and helpful staff allowed us to check-in early, which was perfect as it allowed me time to get changed and get down to the Pub to watch Villa beat the Wolves.
The room was perfect, Bed was amazing, huge!!! Everything wwas as it should be,. no dirt, nothing. Small finishing touches to the room really made this a memorable stay, and I've stayed in all sorts of hotels all over the world, I can safely say this was the best Hotel i've ever been too. There's even a speaker in the bathroom, so you can hear the TV!! Love the bathrobes too!!!

Really couldn't fault it. Thanks to my lovely Girlfriend :) xx

Room Tip: Canal View

“Fairly average. Expected more”

The entrance ambiance and decor doesn't seem to extend beyond the foyer. Rooms are ok, all the facilities you would expect (no biscuits on the coffee tray though), iron and board in the room etc. Clean and tidy. Shower is rubbish. Way too low for a tall man, and needs it seems, millimeter adjustment to control the temp. Slightly too much and you freeze or burn. Toiletries are good quality. Staff were fine, didn't have breakfast. Beers are expensive in the bar.
