“Where you'll be properly looked after”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 January 2012

I travelled on business and whilst travelling had started to come down with something so that when I arrived I was rather ill. The hosts couldn't do more to help and look after me and were genuinely concerned, going so far as to give me some of their own things to allow me to work. The room was wonderful - a really delightful old fasnhioned and stylish spot, and the breakfast was great but my overriding memory is of being looked after not as a customer but as someone for whom the hosts were genuinely concerned and worried about (fortunately I made a full and swift recovery)

“A gem of a find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 November 2011

If you want a great value, clean, tidy, comfortable B&B with a warm welcome, look no further.
I needed a "budget" place in Warwick as I was meeting up with friends for meal/drinks and didn't want to drive home.
The welcome was terrific: coffee and cake served once I had been shown to my room and, throughout, the hosts were friendly and chatty.
Traditionally decorated to suit the property (the four poster beds will appeal to some more than others), the room was very comfy with coffee/tea making and (not seen in many B&B's) bottled water and snacks. Ensuite was clean with plenty of touches which elevate this above "standard".
Breakfast was excellent: some may gripe about having to choose the night before but there is scope to change.
Location is convenient to say the least: 5 mins walk into the main square and castle. Car parking also available (not the norm for Warwick B&B's!).
You will pay more elsewhere and get far less for your money, especially in a popular place like Warwick. For couples, solo/business travellers, well worth checking (can't comment on suitability for families).

“Nice B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2011

NIce, large room, lovely hosts, and a good breakfast. Within easy reach of the train station and the castle, and close to the town without being noisy. The only negative thing was an extremely creaky four poster bed, but other than that had a really nice break away from London town. Many thanks indeed.

“Mainly a Positive Experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2011

We booked this B&B after visiting the Warwick Tourist Information Centre( an excellent service I must say). Sleeping in a canopied four poster bed was certainly a novely and the bathroom was clean and modenn although having carpet in a bathroom is a bit disconcerting. Sadly the room was in other parts showing signs of age.as evidenced by slight signs of damp and peeling wall paper, but overall this was a very pleasnt palce to stay for the one night we were there. Breakfast was excellent.

“A bit of a disappointment”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 October 2011

I read the reviews of this on Trip Advisor and so was expecting great things, but quite disappointed. It's best feature is its location, it is within easy walking distance of both the train station and the town centre/castle. The couple running the b and b were not the friendliest (that accolade would go to the Manse in Eastbourne or the Hollies in Bath). The room (Room 1) was spacious and the facilities were good. However, breakfast was also good (husband liked the bacon) but there was no variety (only one cooked option for a vegetarian). The trouble was that you had to decide and write down what you wanted to eat the previous eve when you don't always know what you want to eat the next day and you cannot then ask whether there's any flexibility. After many visits to b and bs up and down the country, this is only the second time that nobody saw us off when we left, little things like that mean a lot.
