A warm welcome awaits you at this great bed and breakfast. Situated in a farm house which can trace its ancestry back to the fifteenth century, we chose this B&B for its location and after reading other reviews in Trip Advisor. They all hit the right mark. Sue is a great host, very friendly with lots of local knowledge. Great breakfast and comfortable rooms. A really relaxing environment with great views of the local countryside – particularly from a large picture window in the lounge area. Not sampled personally, but several local walks for the more adventurous! Well priced and exceedingly well located. Good and well informed web site (churchhillfarm.co.uk/). Hard to find fault really.
The village of Lighthorne is very pleasant and nice to stroll through. It’s also really well situated for places like Warwick, Stratford and Kenilworth, as well as a host of country houses and other attractions. The one let-down is the pub, the Antelope. We had high expectations when first approaching, but it is very average. It does serve food, but don’t expect a great culinary experience. For all that the landlord and his staff are very welcoming and chatty and the place has potential!
If you decide to stay at Church Hill Farm you are in for a delightful and very pleasant stay. You will be very well looked after and fed. One of the best B&B’s I have stayed in.
