“This Hotel is not!!!!! its a B & B at best”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 September 2010

The room was very small, very tatty and worn. the ensuite was extremley small and covered in mold on the walls, tiles and ceilings.. The smell of the mould was very distinct. The bed spread althoug very clean was worn and had holes in it. Tea and coffee making facilities were ok, but having to get down on hands and knees to boil the kettle because of lack of sockets is no fun. The internal decore is tatty and peeling with lots of cracks running through the walls. In need of a compete refurb and should not be classified as a hotel.
On the positive side the full english breakfast on offer was splendid. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

“Friendly Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 August 2010

Stayed here for one night after a great day "Jousting".
It isn't a Travel Lodge etc, therefore it is a bit quirky, but a lot more homely.
We had a lovely welcome from Mrs Brunel and were shown to our room, number 16, 4 poster bed, plenty of storage and a nice large shower cubicle. Other rooms in our party were smaller but all were clean and tidy.
The lady owner is lovely and will go out of her way to make you feel welcome, breakfast is great, I had no problems asking for a Vegetarian breakfast and I'm sure she would oblige with other requests (up to a limit!!).
Overall a great B & B and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

“Warm welcome from Mrs Bruna, deffinately value for money”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 June 2010

From the outside the hotel did look a little in need of attention, but the excellent friendly welcome and service during our stay from Mrs Bruna was a welcome change from places we've stayed before. There is parking around the back and its easy to get to, but a little' bumpy'. The room we stayed in was room 1 (having read previous comments on the hotel, i can confirm that the lock on this door is in perfect working order!) the room was spotless and the breakfast 'spot on'. I couldnt fault the hotel and would deffinatley go back again... great value for money and in a great location.

“Really welcoming and spotless!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 May 2010

We had booked with the Cambridge Villa Hotel before we read the reviews. When we read some of the reviews prior to our trip we were a bit worried! However, we were more than pleasantly surprised. Bruna is really friendly and welcoming and the room was spotless. The breakfast was spot on. It is a great location, a really short walk to Warwick centre and the castle. We will recommend this hotel to our friends and family and will definitely be planning a visit here again in the near future.

“Very disappointed more a poor guest house than a hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 March 2010

The entry to the car park was extremely bumpy and uneven we worried about damaging the car. I would not have attempted this in a roadster. The lady who greeted us was pleasant and left us to sort ourselves out. The room was at the back, the bed was nicely decorated but the other furniture was of poor quality and had seen better days, the bathroom was nice , spacious and bright. There wasn't a hairdryer provided therefore I couldn't wash my hair it was far to cold to sit around with it wet. Breakfast was early, tea, coffee, orange juice, cereals and an English breakfast. I am not a lover of fry up in the morning and did not feel able to ask for boiled or scrambled eggs. We were very disappointed in our stay as we have paid less for more facilities.
