Our stay here was a great one. Although i felt the reception staff were a little rude upon check in, we had lots of bags and they could see we were struggling but only after we had picked them all back up after checking in were we offered any assistance. One lady told us she would be with us in one moment as she carried on tapping away at her computer, then only one of the other reception staff acknowledged us.
The room we stayed in was lovely, nice and quiet apart from children running down the corridoors at early hours of the morning but thats not the hotels fault.
The pool was on the small side but lovely none the less, the gentleman on reception there who i believe to be the livingwell manager was really friendly and helpful and made our stay more enjoyable.
Breakfast was lovely, the only issue we had was that after we had our first lot of breakfast (fruit) and went up to get some cooked breakfast our table had been cleared by the time we went back including our drinks and cutlery so we had to wait to get some more (the staff could of at least waited instead of trying to rush and turn around the tables esecially as it wasnt that busy and there were tonnes of other tables available).
Room service was delicious, we had the steak baguette and it was beautiful well worth the money, although it did take around an hour to get to us and we had to call reception twice to find out where it was.
Overall the stay was ok, just a shame about some of the staff. We will probably return here as the location is great for warwick castle and stratford upon avon.
Room Tip: Deluxe rooms are lovely
