“Beautiful farmhouse b&b, excellent service”

We've stayed here twice now and it is a lovely b&b. The room we have stayed in is spacious with a fabulously comfy bed. Our room had an ensuite with roll-top bath, with shower attachment.

The breakfasts are absolutely delicious with an emphasis on healthy, organic food. Last time we had delicious raspberries straight out of the garden.

It is an easy walk from the house to the town centre over fields.

A very special place to stay for more discerning travellers.

“Delightful B&B, in countryside close to theatre”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 September 2011

If you are perhaps going to the theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon, or just fancy a nice stroll beside the river or the canal, followed by dinner at one of the very good restaurants, but would prefer not to stay at a hotel in the town, then this must be a great option for you to consider. It is a lovely old house, surrounded by a farm, but the rooms are presented in modern style. The walk into town is, I suspect, brief and pleasant, but for us 'rain stopped play'. David and Decima were most helpful, and breakfast was delicious.

“We are such stuff as dreams are made on and our little life is rounded with a sleep. ...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 August 2011

Magical and enchanting, a rambling farmhouse, a carefree late summer Sunday and distant dreaming spires of Stratford across the wheatfields. Thankyou Decima and David for such a delightful break at the start of our holidays. Cross o' the Hill is quite unique and will no doubt mean something different to everyone who comes through your doors. Such a wonderful refuge from the sameness and blandness of a beige world.

“Couldn't have been better”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 July 2010

We had 2 nights here and our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. It was just delightful. Decima is the perfect host - warm and helpful but not intrusive. The double en suite room was luxurious and the breakfast was great - fresh, light but filling and you could have as much as you wanted. We walked into Stratford to see King Lear and talked about it all the way back across the fields - it was wonderful. We will be back.

“Spectacular B&B. Wonderful hosts.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 August 2009

We spent a week in Britain on our way to the U.S. from Africa. We stayed in 4 places while in England, and this was the best. Decima is a wonderful host. The home is beautiful, the beds comfortable, the breakfast wonderful. The walk to Stratford was beautiful and magical, especially in the moonlight after seeing "A Midsummer Night's Dream." Thank you so much.
