Stayed Saturday night, very cold night but lovely and warm in the Inn by the log burner. Tried the carvery which surpassed all expectations, best food I have eaten out in a long while.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, all you could ask of a place really.

Just spent one night here on the way to a family gathering, The room was very modern and the en suite seemed brand new, The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
Very friendly atmosphere and only a few miles to stratford center.
Carvery was excellent and the breakfast was spot on, We will return in the summer months and would recommend this little piece of England to anyone who likes a real pint and a log fire.

We have just returned from 3 nights at this inn. It was very convenient for Stratford upon Avon. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean but very dated. Unfortunately the bed was extremely hard and therefore uncomfortable. Having said that we enjoyed the cavery meal we had on two occasions. We didnt have the breakfast as the latest you can eat is 8.30 which was too early for us on our few days holiday.

This quaint little pub is situated about 5 miles from Stratford upon Avon and provided us with an ideal base from which to explore the Cotswolds. Rooms were smaller than those in larger establishments, but the friendly atmosphere of this quiet little village more than made up for it. The evening meals were top quality & represented great value. The included breakfasts were cooked fresh to order and serves very generous. We would be more than happy to stay again.
