A good position for accessing Stratford's many attractions, but this is one of the poorest bed and breakfasts I've experienced. Although clean, the accommodation needed updating, the shower room in particular being small and cramped and in total need of refurbishment.
Breakfast was barely adequate, with half empty containers of cereal, tinned grapefruit and fruit juice reflecting B and B's in the past, certainly not the many comparably priced ones I've visited recently. An order of scrambled egg should be better than a white (!) mound of sludge presented unadorned in the middle of a white plate. Hosts made little/no effort to interact and allowed a resident toddler dressed only in vest and nappy to wander around freely, including in the breakfast room.
Positive comments must have been under previous management....see dates.
