Four of my family members recently spent a very enjoyable two days in Stratford after several muggy cramped days in London’s Paddington area. Our stay with Noy & Roger at the Dylan Guest House was splendid mainly due to the engaging hospitality of our hosts, large and airy rooms and sumptuous daily breakfasts. As well, the Dylan site is an easy five minute walk to the recreational/shopping/eating areas of Stratford. I will always stay with Roger when visiting Stratford again.

We booked 4 nights at the Dylan, as a base it was ok, can't complain about the cleanliness. The breakfast was the worsed I have ever had. Just fruit juice and cereal as starter, sometimes yogurt was on the table, no fresh fruit. Scrambled eggs I think were powdered and the bacon swimming in fat. The toast only half cooked. The hostess, I have to say was not the friendliest, a reply to "Good morning" doesn't go amiss. Stratford, however, was brilliant and the chosen guest house didn't spoil the holiday

The room was the size of a large cupboard. my suitcase had to live under the bed as the room was too small to accommodate both me and it! Breakfast was greasy and poor quality bacon. the bed was as hard as a brick, so hard that I had very disturbed sleep. The accommodation's one redeeming feature is its proximity to town centre. and there was no TV in the room although it is advertised in their website.

My son and I wanted to visit Stratford for a weekend, and The Dylan House was the cheapest accommodation in the area so I thought we would give it a go. Well I am really glad we did, the room was lovely and clean with plenty of tea and coffee, and it was ensuite. Also even though it was on a busy road it was very quiet in the bedroom. The English breakfast was fantastic, there was so much I didn't know where to start and it set us up for a mornings sight-seeing. The people who run the guest house are really friendly. I would recommend this for anyone to visit. I will definetly go back in the future.
