Just returned from an overnight stay here. Absolutely beautiful B&B - I'd move in given half a chance! Our room (no 1) was tastefully decorated in period furniture but with a very new looking shower room. The breakfast room was a delight - beautifully furnished, antique linen tablecloths, silverware, and a fabulous breakfast! Very centrally located - an easy flat 5 minute stroll into town and the theatre. Couldn't ask for more. Thank you!

After 37 years, I made the decision to return to Stratford to celebrate my 55th birthday! After reading up on the numerous bed and breakfast possibilities, I decided on The Adelphi Guest House . . . and what a wonderful choice it was! I was traveling solo, and after Martin and Ellen saw that a larger room was available, they were very generous to upgrade me! Everything was perfect . . . the breakfast was fantastic, the ambiance, the decor, the soft music . . . what a great way to start each day!!!

I visited with my boyfriend in November - and we both were completely blown away. The room was clean and beautifully decorated (Room # 1 - Shabby Chic). The bathroom was completely upgraded and the shower was absolutely divine. Breakfast had so much choice and kept me full for almost the entire day. More than that - it was completely delicious ... I only wish it went a little bit later (in terms of serving time). The owners were warm and friendly without being too intrusive. Finally it's location was perfect - walking distance to everything.
We will definitely be back!

How do Martin and Ellen keep improving this delightful B & B?
I dont know how but they do.
The room I stayed in was warm, stylish and comfortable .
The ensuite facilities were a delight as was the TV, WI FI, Bed linen and many thoughtful little extras.
I doubt that there is a B & B in England that does a better breakfast.
I would not dream of staying anywhere else in Stratford
