“Great attention to detail”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2012

I stayed here with my son when visiting Warrick University and was very impressed that they offered us a map oh the campus when they found out the reason for our visit. Very comfortable twin room with great attention to detail such as fresh milk and bottles of water from a fridge on the landing and a hot water bottle in the drawer, not that we needed it. Highly recommend.

“Worth the ratings here...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 November 2011

Actually needed to stay in Leamington, nearby, but it was all booked up. Went for the highest-rated B&B in Kenilworth and don't regret it.

My daughter stayed in a room on the 1st floor and I was in room 8 on the 2nd floor for 2 nights. This was the perfect B&B. Cozy, quiet, warm, well-equipped (free WiFi and tea prep in the room, fridge with milk & water, reliably hot showers and baths, ...) and comfortable.

Everything was impeccable when we arrived and throughout our stay: clean and warm.

The owners were extremely friendly and polite. The breakfast was excellent and served to order.

I can't say anything about the television as I didn't turn it on the whole time we were there.

Only slight, very slight, negative point: avoid room 8 if you're taller than perhaps 5' 7" as the eaves from the roof take up a good portion of the room and you'll hit your head often. But still comfortable and roomy.

Highly recommended.

“Fantastic B&B!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 November 2011

We stayed here just one night and absolutely loved it.

The room was a good size, spotlessly clean and nice and warm when we arrived.

The room was also one of the cheapest we have stayed in, at around 72 pounds a night including breakfast.

The owners were really friendly and welcoming, offering us information about what to see and do around the area.

Breakfast was prompt and really yummy, and I enjoyed chatting with the owner about our shared love of Jane Austen! We tried to book for another night but unfortunately for us they were full.

We would highly recommend Victoria Lodge :)

Room Tip: We asked for a room at the back, based on other reviewers comments about noise from traffic, and had...

“One of the very best!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 November 2011

Victoria Lodge is our first choice whenever we visit the NEC or Stoneleigh, we've stayed there three times and will continue to do so; we're guaranteed a warm welcome, our room has always been spotless and comfortable and breakfast is always perfectly cooked using the best ingredients.
With Kenilworth's many restaurants just a short walk away the Victoria Lodge couldn't be better placed; it's nice to be able to leave the car behind, there is off-street parking right outside the front door.
This time we stayed in room 6 at the back and had an excellent night's sleep after being on our feet all day at the NEC and the thoughtful extra touches - fresh milk and bottled water in a fridge on the landing - make all the difference.
The Victoria Lodge has our highest recommendation.

Room Tip: If you're a light sleeper, ask for a room at the rear.

“Excellent, very comfortable B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 October 2011

Stayed 1st October 2011 with 4 friends to attend a birthday party in Kenilworth. Probably the best single room I have ever stayed in, in terms of space. comfort and amenities. Far better than any hotel single room I have experienced. Nice en-suite with a decent sized shower. Only minor quibble is that being at the front, traffic noise was a little intrusive, but didn't keep me awake - might be more of an issue on a week night/morning if this sort of thing bothers you. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Everything was well presented and very clean. Free bottled water and fresh milk in fridge on landing outside rooms was a nice touch. Lovely breakfast. Great B&B. Would highly recommend.

Room Tip: Rooms on the front may suffer a little from traffic noise.
