I stayed in this hotel earlier in the year. First of all, from the main road I could not find the entrance (which turned out to be on a side road). I telephoned, was let in a front door and found myself in the middle of a wedding reception (most embarassing). My single room was cold and the carpet very badly stained. The toilet needed cleaning. Cement block for a pillow (only one flat pillow). I was the only person in the dining room in the evening and considering the below par meal I had, I am nolt surprised.... a horrible hotel at an average price.

Lovely spacious and well equipped room. Vast bathroom, great towels. No skimping on beverage making stock or indeed toiletries.

Most appreciated was the hospitality from the warm & welcoming team.

So pleased now that I didn't follow the sheep and book into the chain hotel at the other end of town.

This hotel offered good value for money in a good location. It was well placed for the NEC and surrounding attractions (we were visiting Stoneleigh Park just a few miles away) and there is a large choice of restaurants within walking distance.

The hotel layout is slightly odd being split over 3 seperate buildings. Our room would have benefitted from a fresh coat of paint but was clean and spacious and had a good variety of toiletries, tea/coffee and bottled water available.

The breakfast was nice, cooked to order and plentiful. The hotel car park is small and on the second night we were unable to park here. This is a slight problem as there isn't much parking round about.

I would stay here again if I was in the area and I would reccomend it if you are looking for reasonably priced accomodation with places to eat nearby.

Stayed this Saturday night.
Warm welcome on arrival and we were shown to our room. Lovely big family room (booked a twin) with single and double bed in separate rooms (archway between them) and good shower. Tea and coffee making, comp water and biscuits.
We noticed a lovely lounge (sort of upstairs conservatory) on the way up to the room with comfortable chairs and telly and great outlook over the garden.
We parked behind the hotel - we notice that we should have booked this in advance (which we hadn;t), but there was no problem in us parking here.
The hotel is on the main road in Kenilworth. We walked up the road to a cocktail bar and then down to the Coconut Lounge where we had a very nice Indian meal with a discount, as we were staying the the Grand.
Breakfast was very good. Continental goodies available to choose from and cooked breakfast cooked to order.
Warm, Clean, Confortable with plenty of Hot water - what more do you need!
Only 9 miles from the NEC - we will be back again next time.
We also found free wifi - not sure if it was the hotel's or someone locally!
