I'm as critical as they come, and did find a few niggles, but in summary, this hotel understands the customer and tries hard to meet his/her needs.
Check in - excellent
Room - clean and well sized. Being January it was very cold. Since the room hadn't been used the heating took its time to get up to speed. So they swiftly moved me to a recently occupied room which was perfect.
Special thanks to the hotel caretaker! An extremely well mannered man who sets the benchmark on how to deal with customers. Hats off to you!
One particular bar tender also stood out and was obviously trying that little bit harder. Leant what i liked and by the second evening was already making me feel like i was at my local. He made a difference, so I gave him a 20 pound tip on my last evening (u should have seen his eyes!)
Fast Internet, great menu, good prices, well located, very comfortable, would highly recommend.
I believe the secret behind this hotel is the management and team itself. They all work in synergy and the customer gets the rewards.

We had one night here in an executive room which was spotless, warm, extremely quiet (room 308) comfortable and luxurious. We only had contact with the receptionists but the two we dealt with were efficient and friendly. The whole place has quite a luxurious atmosphere for a Holiday Inn and it doesn't feel like a corporate chain hotel. We had a lovely stay in Kenilworth, the Indian Edge restaurant is fab, but book a table, it was heaving! Would definitely stay here again.

stayed here for a family wedding, and it suited us very well, clean rooms well positioned at top of the high street, many restaurants close by , ample parking

My wife and I and her parents started our Christmas break in another hotel north of Coventry which was a horrible experience. Fortunately my wife and her parents had stayed at the Holiday Inn Kenilworth before and we were able to get two twin bed rooms from Christmas Eve to the day after boxing day. Our Christmas was saved. The rooms were clean and modern with decent internet connection for keeping in contact with family elsewhere in the UK and aboard. The service we received from the staff was warm, friendly and extremely helpful. The food was excellent. I particularly liked the special dishes marked with the calories so, despite it being the season to indulge, you could try not to. The Christmas day meal was fantastic. All in all I can now see why my wife and her family like this hotel very much, as I now do also, Thank you.
