I'm as critical as they come, and did find a few niggles, but in summary, this hotel understands the customer and tries hard to meet his/her needs.
Check in - excellent
Room - clean and well sized. Being January it was very cold. Since the room hadn't been used the heating took its time to get up to speed. So they swiftly moved me to a recently occupied room which was perfect.
Special thanks to the hotel caretaker! An extremely well mannered man who sets the benchmark on how to deal with customers. Hats off to you!
One particular bar tender also stood out and was obviously trying that little bit harder. Leant what i liked and by the second evening was already making me feel like i was at my local. He made a difference, so I gave him a 20 pound tip on my last evening (u should have seen his eyes!)
Fast Internet, great menu, good prices, well located, very comfortable, would highly recommend.
I believe the secret behind this hotel is the management and team itself. They all work in synergy and the customer gets the rewards.
