I have just come back from a golf society weekend at Bidford Grange. Would I go back ? No.

Positives
Great location, very good course, friendly staff and they do a decent breakfast.
Now the problems....
The majority of our society were unable to get any hot water at all in their rooms for the duration of the stay.
The owners give beer tokens as a way of attracting you. they have a limited range of beer, but of that, you had to pay a hefty supplement for Guiness as it wasn't included.
Didn't see a green keeper - the greens were a mess.
Dinner was truly awful, even worse if you are a vegetarian. our token one waited over an hour for his whilst we were served. They tried to give him pudding as a starter. shabby hotel, shabby rooms, course needs work.

Went there for my son's stag do, the staff were very helpful and made the stay a very enjoyable one. I am not a golfer but "doing" a couple of rounds was great. Would go there again.

After reading numerous amounts of reviews on Bidford Grange about it lacking this, that and the other and how much potentail it has got, i was a little dubious.
I can safely say the potential has been realised and is in full swing (no pun intended).
From the moment you arrive, the welcome is first class. I believe the Manager is Tim and his stewardess is Wendy welcome you as if you were walking through their own front door and leave you never wanting for anything.
The course is in first class condition and fair enough it is long, but with some beautiful views of Warwickshire and the promise of some of the most testing golf i have ever played, you soon forget it.
I was with a party of 40 and we have already booked for later this year and will booking for 2009.
Top Class, well done to everyone associated with Bidford Grange.

Our stay at Bidford Grange was pleasant and the staff were very hospitable, the food was to die for, and the club noticably under new management!

The greens were in excellent condition, and id recommend Bidford Grange to Golfers / weekenders alike!
