After a long trip from the other Newcastle in Staffordshire, I headed for Newcastle upon Tyne to visit friends. I looked at alot of other Hotels some of which I thought were too costly. Wasn't sure what to expect from a Premier Inn as I had never been in one before. If you put the postcode in your Sat Nav it takes you through lots of residential areas, when if you look on the map the M1 goes right passed it.So next time I will use the map. The Hotel itself is right next to a Pub, ideal for food. When I booked in the staff were very helpful and I had a very quiet room.En suite aswell, The room was spotless and the bathroom was big, shower and Bath. I actually stayed 2 nights and was happywith it. Breakfast is provided in the Pub restaurant and you can have as much as you like and the evening meals are good aswell. I must say the food could not be faulted. If your going out into Newcastle for the nightlife, you can also get a bus at the bottom of the road into the town to save money and get a taxi back. Definately a Hotel I would recommend.
