“Great stay, good location & friendly staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 January 2012 via mobile

My sister & I took advantage of the £29 room offer at the beginning of January to do some sale shopping in the city centre. We were very happy that we chose to stay at the Premier Inn Quayside. The Receptionist staff were friendly & welcoming. Hotel room was great, very clean and comfortable. Very secure parking, but would recommend you reserve a space before you arrive as spaces did seem limited. Great location for shopping and restaurants. Would stay here again.

i was'nt sure about booking a premier inn at first i did'nt think it would really cut it as a good hotel was just expecting a bed curtains and maybe a kettle just a bit more than you would get in a hostel. shame on me from start to end i enjoyed every minute of the stay. the bar and restaurant outstanding and the staff i could talk about how friendly the staff were for hours. from now on its premier inn all the way

“Pleasantly surprised”

Normally try to avoid such places after some horrific experiences in Travelodges over the years. Was booked here on a stag do (sorry) and was filled with dread but was genuinely surprised. Lovely building with great riverside location practically under Tyne bridge. Rooms were comfy and spotless. Didn't eat or drink - bar a pint - but plenty of others did and seemed to have no complaints. All in all for £40 i had a good stay. First time in a Premier Inn and best comparison I can give at the budget end of the market is this is Easyjet to Travelodges Ryanair.

“Only bad thing I could find in Newcastle”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 January 2012

Not the best place in the world to stay in Newcastle.

Rude receptionist, cold food and a lack of respect for paying customers!!

“Perfect for seeing Newcastle”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 January 2012

We booked the Premier Inn on Newcastle Quayside on a deal as a cheap way to visit Newcastle. The hotel was clean and tidy and the service was friendly. We had a room with views across the Tyne to the Sage which was clean & comfortable. We didn't eat at the hotel as we had a room only deal and were out exploring most of the time. The car parking is secure but it was an extra cost, however it was reasonable considering the busy city location and how much it would have cost to park elsewhere during our stay.
