first class position. staff very helpful. bedrooms clean but could do with updating.breakfast food lacked taste and not very hot, infact certain parts of it ie bacon / sausages/ tomatoes were cold

Just had a one night stay in an executive room...room was very nice..clean ..modern,,,and nice decor. The billabong bar downstairs was very busy(sat night) but very enjoyable.Car Parking seemed ok and was free. The only gripe i would make is the creaking floorboards in the corridors and every step a board creaked.not a problem if you at the end of the corridor but if you are near the lifts or staircase it may be a problem with people coming and going...
Nice Hotel

My husband and I stay at the Caledonian for 2 nights on a special break deal. We were both VERY impressed and could not fault the hotel,food or the staff. We had an executive room which was lovely and very clean, in fact the whole hotel was clean to a very high standard, something which is very important to me. This has got to be the most friendly hotel we have stayed in and we have lots of breaks in England. Well done to all the staff you made our stay very enjoyable and we will most certainly come again.

We had executive room it was excellent quiet at the back on the second floor. The staff were very helpfull and friendly The breakfast was great covering everything you would want. The evening meal plenty of choices for each course, we would say would have liked more choice of vegetables. The whole experience was fantastic
